I can advise you and share my experiences. This relates to all aspects of leadership topics such as line management, responsibility for (large) projects, how to handle operating processes, all the way to providing support in change processes, including the outsourcing of activities. The leadership role is my basis – and I keep evolving this role. In addition, I am a systemic coach and mediator. Both of these roles are closely interlinked with the core responsibilities of a leadership role and with the associated expectations.
Are you looking for someone who understands you and your challenges? And are you looking for someone who will guide you through your further development? I am happy to assist you.
I can help you discover your real needs and goals. You may have already figured out that some areas of personal developments come easier than others: I am convinced that you hold the full potential within yourself to achieve your goals with self-determination. Just one thought about reaching your goal will get you further than any thought about analyzing the underlying causes. Moreover, I am convinced that you are the only one who knows which solution is best for you. I am happy that you will soon start living your real life!
Do you want to take some time for yourself to take the first step? Do you feel like now is the right time? I am happy to assist you.
Conflicts are not a bad thing. They mean that something should be clarified. Escalated conflicts, on the other hand, cannot be resolved by the parties involved without external help. But you can resolve your escalated conflicts without a court of law: Mediation aims to find a forward-looking solution that fits your situation together with the other conflicting parties, with all parties involved feeling like winners in the end. You can achieve this by determining what you really want together with your opponents! This is where I come in – I am there for all conflicting parties equally to assist from a neutral position.
Nobody is listening anymore? Everybody insists on their own opinion? Are you looking for a solution? I am happy to assist you.
My background is in management, both as a line manager and in project functions. In addition, I can support you as a certified systemic and wingwave® coach and as a trained mediator. I use this background and my experience according to your needs.
The length of a session strongly depends on its nature: individual coaching sessions take between 60 and 90 minutes, for instance, whereas a short-term mediation may take up to a whole day. We will arrange the times together.
The number of sessions depends on your concerns and what you want to achieve: some of my clients reach their goals in one session. Others need several sessions because of the complexity of the topics. Once again, it is you that makes a decision after each session as to how often and at which intervals a session should take place.
The location depends on your concerns and needs: while it can be helpful to hold a mediation session at a neutral location, it may be beneficial to conduct a coaching session in a familiar environment. Apart from meeting in person, it is also possible to have a session on the phone. Hence, we decide together on a suitable location.
I gained my leadership experience in line management and project roles, in operational and non-operational functions, in positions with direct and indirect management responsibility. I was responsible both for small, local teams and for large, international teams. I was responsible for small projects to be implemented as part of my role and for an independent transformation project that took several years
Primarily, I apply systemic coaching for the individual, resource-based development of my clients. As a coach, I take a target-oriented and solution-focused approach. To me, resource-based, systemic development is much more sustainable than simply copying other people’s solution approaches without thinking.
I also work with wingwave® Interventions as part of my systemic coaching. I have found wingwave® to be very effective in emotion and performance coaching, especially in reducing stress.
What fascinates me about mediation is the possibility of resolving conflicts in a way that optimizes the interests of everyone involved. I support the conflicting parties in gaining an understanding on their own and in reaching an agreement on the basis of this understanding
Each of these roles requires clarity and has its limits. Therefore, I fall back on my experience and use these roles in combination or discretely, depending on my clients’ requests.
After entering the working world in 1999, after having completed my apprenticeship and my studies in business administration, I gained a wide range of experience in leading people, both in organizations and in projects.
A turning point in my career was when I took responsibility for a multi-year transformation program. Based on my previous experience, I thought that I was good at building teams and getting people excited about something that excited me. Now, it wasn't the case anymore! I had to admit that I couldn’t get any further on my own and needed help. During this time, I received many tips on what others would do in my place – meant to be good and supportive without exception
Do you know the feeling when you get the ultimate solution from several people within a short period of time? But what would you do if these solutions were completely different? Put one after the other to the test? How will your team react to these test setups? And what if these approaches are logically comprehensible but you can’t reconcile yourself with the respective implementation? And why shouldn’t you try something that has proven its worth more intensively and vehemently? After all, it worked before!?
During this time, I learned that, in our deeply interlinked and complex systems, lasting success and satisfaction can only be achieved by understanding individual needs and through the quality of relationships between people. And I learned that while authenticity is important, in the end it is open-mindedness and self-reflection that is necessary for one’s own development.
